Quoth the Adh-Sì:

“Hold yourself, Villain. I smell the fear-stink leaking from your infected skin… Do you think I will let you steal those sweets from yon Market? I don’t care if it’s only a candy-bar, return it henceforth lest you draw more of my ire!”

Kith Excerpt:

Of all the Sì Families, the Adh-Sì are perhaps the least concerned with the modern world. They claim direct descent the Tuatha de Danaan, and as such hold themselves and others to ideals that few can live up to. This also leads them to adopt a demeanor that at times may be seem harsh or even callous to the uninformed. Their words are short and to the point, and their actions are just this side of ruthless.

In truth, this ruthless nature isn’t one born of vengeance, but of justice, and manifests in their twice Bealtaine (double-Seelie or Marcra) Court. They see the turmoil and heart-ache left in the Domhanda an Gheimhridh (Waking World) and hear the cries of mortals. If the world at large still boasted the wonders of the Tuatha de Danaan, perhaps these cries of turmoil and heart-ache would be stilled.

This drive to save the world sometimes puts them at ends with the other Sì Families. All of the Houses in Magh Tuireadh (the Sì’s own Dreaming Realm) are equal after all, and despite the Adh- Sì’s burning thirst for justice, they aren’t the de facto leaders in any sense. While they may boss, boast, and threaten, their Tuathan Ancestry doesn’t allow them sovereignty.

“We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise.”
