Quoth the Zmei:

“Hi! I am not trying to be too forward, but I saw your gorgeous red hair, and I just knew I had to say something or I would regret it to the end of my days.”

Kith Excerpt:

The Zmei (or Zmeya if female) are the Most human of all the world’s dragon Folk. Supposedly all slain, and dismissed by the other Plemya (Kith), these eons old beasts are infamous the world over, not just their Native Empire. They are renowned for the immortality, their many heads, their romance, and their hellish hungers. Most of that information is only about half-right.

Each of the Zmei is immortal in a certain aspect. Dealing sufficient damage to any of their Number will undoubtedly kill them. This not only includes Chimerical and Physical damage, but also a broken heart (which slays them more than any knight of Old ever could). However, with all these deaths the Zmei will arise the next day with a new power (instead of another head as it was in the days past). Yet those hungers and romances still hold sway.

Every Zmei has a certain type that they are infatuated with. It could be clever folk, or redheads, or sassy snarky old ladies. These are the romances and hungers that drive them to interact with the rest of the world, and perhaps the reason for so many of their deaths. The Heart is a fickle thing, and the Zmei have nothing if they don’t have heart.

No matter how many times you kill them.”
